In Detail
How we ran the engagement
Phase
Brief Our client, a market leader in craft beer with an outstanding offline offering but limited online market share, challenged us to increase organic traffic and carve out a larger stake in the online market. This required migration support to launch a new e-commerce-focused website as well as an overhaul of the keyword targeting throughout the site.
Strategy While the business was excited to see the potential growth, there were changes to the site that needed senior buy-in. Once we carried out extensive keyword research to highlight the change in keyword targeting required, we built comprehensive business cases for all changes, including forecasting potential traffic improvements from technical and on-page changes.
Results After successfully getting senior buy-in to make the proposed technical and on-page changes we saw an additional 60,000 clicks on just 10 target keyword categories in the three months after the changes were made compared to the previous three months.
