47% of UK pest control firms are invisible in AI search.

The verdict

AI assistants named the national operators and left specialists unnamed

This quarter's index measured one thing in UK pest control: whether an AI assistant named a firm when a person asked it a real question. 35 of the 75 firms surveyed appeared in no answer.

143 of the 384 answers named no firm at all (37.2%). Where the answers did name firms, those firms sat at the national end of the market. National & Multi-Branch Operators: 14 of 14 firms were named (100.0%), against 53.3% across the market. Specialist & Niche Providers: 1 of 12 firms were named (8.3%), against 53.3% across the market. A specialist or small firm in this market should check whether any assistant's answer names it at all.

“Which pest control company should I use in the UK?”

Given where you are and what you’ve said (scratching in the loft, mouse droppings in the kitchen, two young kids, want it sorted quickly and safely), I’d do this: 1. Use an accredited professional, not a random advert Start with one of these: 1. British Pest Control Association (BPCA) “Find a pest controller” tool - Go to the BPCA website and use their postcode search. ([bpca.org.u…

“Which pest control company should I use in the UK?”

Given you’re in Leeds with kids at home and likely mice in the loft and kitchen, you want: - Someone local and reputable - Very good with rodents (not just wasps/one‑off callouts) - Fast response, but also follow‑up visits and proofing (blocking entry points) - Options that can minimise poison use and explain safety clearly. 1. Strong local options in/around Leeds Based on u…

“Which pest control company should I use in the UK?”

Given your situation (young kids at home, scratching in the loft, droppings in the kitchen) I’d focus on a reputable local firm that does mouse/rodent work all the time, uses child‑ and pet‑safe methods, and includes proofing (blocking entry points) rather than just chucking poison around. Good options around Leeds Based on recent local listings and review sites: - Apex Pest Control (…

“Which pest control company should I use in the UK?”

For what you’ve described (mice in one house, possible bed bugs in another, and wanting a contract across four properties) the key is to pick a good operator rather than chase a single “best” brand. Given you’re in Manchester with four rentals and issues with both mice and possible bed bugs, think in two layers: 1. An immediate firm that can move quickly for the two current problems. 2.
