Who you're agreeing with
This site, typeamedia.net, is operated by Type A Media. Our registered office is 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. You can reach us at clients@a.agency.
By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site. These terms apply to the website only — when you become a client, the engagement is governed by the Statement of Work we sign together, which will override anything here that conflicts.
What you can do here
- Read our content — case studies, blog posts, framework explainers, service pages.
- Submit a contact form or landing page enquiry to talk to us.
- Subscribe to our newsletter.
- Share links to our content on social media or in emails to colleagues.
- Quote short passages of our content with a link back, under standard fair-use principles.
What you can't do here
- Scrape the site at scale (we use Cloudflare bot management — automated traffic gets blocked).
- Reproduce more than a short quotation of our content without written permission.
- Use our name, logo, or trademarks in a way that suggests partnership or endorsement we haven't given.
- Submit forms with fake details, automated traffic, or anything intended to harass us or anyone else.
- Attempt to break, probe, or exploit the site's security.
- Use the site or our content to train AI models without written permission.
Our content and IP
Everything on this site — copy, design, frameworks, case study write-ups, illustrations, photography, code — is owned by Type A Media or licensed to us. "Type A Media", the Type A wordmark, and our framework names (REST, DISCO, DDDD) are our trademarks.
Client logos and case study artwork are reproduced with permission from the clients in question.
Content is guidance, not advice
Our blog posts, framework explainers, and case studies describe what we've seen work in real engagements. They're general guidance, not specific advice for your situation. We can't guarantee a particular outcome from following our public content — every engagement is different. If you want advice tailored to your business, that's what a paid engagement is for.
Numbers in case studies are real, audited where possible, and reproduced with the client's permission. They describe what we delivered for that client; they don't predict what we'd deliver for you.
Liability
We do our best to keep this site online, accurate, and free of errors — but we provide it "as is" without warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Type A Media is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from your use of the site, including loss of profits, business, or data.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that can't be excluded under English law.
Third-party links
We link out to other sites — clients, journalists, tools, sources. We don't control those sites and we're not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Click external links at your own discretion.
Changes to the site and these terms
We may change the site, the content, or these terms at any time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from your use of the site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
